Pretty Place Mats!

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Call me crazy but our wedding is 8 months away and I'm already thinking about the bridesmaid's luncheon that I will be hosting for my best friends! I want it to look classy and elegant (they deserve nothing less) but I want it to feel intimate and relaxed. Nothing too formal because we'll have that at the ceremony and reception the following evening.

I'm thinking about hosting this lunch, or possibly brunch, at NEO in Atlanta. Everything is white and feminine and I think it will be perfect for the occasion.

I love the sleek European look. Anyway, choosing the location was easy! Now for the details (but not too many because the girls need a few surprises)! I was walking around Anthropologie last week and came across these vintage-inspired paper place mats designed by Cake Vintage. How frilly and girly! At $20 for 50 they are also incredibly affordable. Yay!

Wouldn't these look so cute? I can even have a calligrapher write their names on them instead of using place cards! Anthropologie always has the coolest finds and I'm so excited that they will be launching their bridal line and gift registry early next year!

Are you planning a bridesmaid's luncheon? If you're already married, did you throw one? Please share your ideas on how you plan on spoiling your girls!
